It is the last days of World War II. During a soldier’s attack on a farm, a handful of children hide in an abandoned shed. Exposed to constant threat, the children must remain extremely quiet, carefully listening to the incidents outside. In this tense silence, one of the children falls into a convulsive cough it is barely able to control.
