Serge Bromberg is so busy he has two separate companies to handle his activities. Through Lobster Films, founded in 1985, he has restored numerous film classics, including The Crime of Monsieur Lange, The Young Girls of Rochefort and Abel Gance’s J’accuse. His newer company, Steamboat Films, produces documentaries and shorts for television. Bromberg is also artistic director of The Annecy International Animation Film Festival, where he has been known to play piano accompaniment at silent film screenings.
