On the occasion of 2010 TWO RIVERSIDES Festival, the little but enchanting town of Mięćmierz prepared numerous attraction for our audience.

Gallery on the fence:

August 1, Sunday

3.00 p.m. – the exhibition of Tomek Sikora’s photographs entitled “little brothers”- photographs of pets kept by Mięćmierz and Okale dwellers, presented on a fence near the well

Chickens, dogs, cats, cows, rabbits, pigeons- we see and hear them every day. Let’s take a closer look at their characters. The exhibition is open every day until September 10.

August 1, Sunday

4.00 p.m. – a multimedia presentation entitled “Chopin’s Nostalgy in Tomek Sikora’s photographs”
5.00 p.m.– piano recital – Kasia Kraszewska plays Chopin repertoire.

12.00 p.m., 2.30 p.m., 5.00 p.m. – Tomek Sikora’s multimedia presentation

August 5, Thursday

6.00 p.m.– a concert of Chopin’s songs performed by artists from Warsaw: Ewa Pelwecka (piano), Dorota Lachowicz (mezzosoprano), Krzysztof Kur (tenor)

August 6, Friday – closed (change of exposition)

August 7, Saturday

4.00 p.m.– a vernissage of the ‘”PENDZLE” group exhibition
presentation of paintings by Tomasz Ciecierski, Ryszard Grzyb, Robert Maciejuk, Paweł Susid, Włodzimierz Jan Zakrzewski. Waldemar Baraniewski is the curator of the exhibition, opened from 12:00 p.m.- 6:00 p.m. every day until September 10.

6.00 p.m.– piano recital – Maciej Grzybowski plays:

Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart’s Rondo In A Minor KV 511, Arnold Schoenberg’s Sechs kleine Klavierstuecke op. 19, Domenico Scarlatti’s Sonata In C-Minor (L.4).

Moreover:

August 1 – 7, every day after 8.00 p.m. screenings of films as part of „On the Other Side” Festival, with discussion afterwards.
