In 2004, Ruben made his feature debut with the controversial fiction film ”The Guitar Mongoloid”, which won the Fipresci Award at the Moscow International Film Festival 2005. His second feature “Involuntary” (selected for Cinemart 2007) premiered in Cannes Official Selection 2008, Un Certain Regard section.
