Young directors from Munk Studio will arrive at the Festival on August 5: Marcin Jażyński (Criminal), Zbigniew Czapla (Ritual) Arek Biedrzycki (Plain Landscape with a Cradle), Kuba Czekaj (Don’t Be Afraid of the Dark House) and  Tomasz Jurkiewicz (If Fish Could Talk).

After the screening of all films applied for the competition, there will be a special panel discussion devoted to their artistic work, in the context of the condition of the young cinema in the world. We invited young filmmakers from other countries to take part in the discussion: Tomasz Rudzik (Germany), Rigoberto Perezcano (Mexico), Janaína Marques Ribeiro (Brazilia/Cuba).

Jacek Bromski and Paweł Sala will be our special guests during the discussion. The former is the President of the General Board of Polish Filmmakers Association and the co-creator of Munk Studio. The latter is the director of MOTHER TERESA OF CATS, his full-length debut film.

Grażyna Torbicka, Artistic Director of the Festival, will conduct the discussion, which will be held in PEARL Festival Club on Thursday, August 5, at 2:00 p.m.
