August 3: Dark House in the Small Market Square
We’d like to invite you to the meeting with the creators of ‘The Dark House’, which will be held in the cinema in Small Market Square. The screening of the film is planned after the meeting.
The action of ‘The Dark House’ takes place in a crude scenery of the Bieszczady Mountains, on a dreary winter day during martial law in Poland. A group of policemen, with lieutenant Mróz in charge, is visiting an crime scene in the household belonging to the Dziabas family. Środoń, a suspect, is telling about events that happened in the autumn of 1978, during a stormy drunken night. The gloomy and initially comical story of Środoń, Bożena and Zdzisław Dziabas is becoming more and more terrifying, intertwining with swindles and scams of policemen participating in the inquiry.
See you on August 3, at 9:00 p.m.
