Tomek is being released from the prison where he spent 7 last years. On the day of the release he gets married with his fiancé Agnieszka, who is temporally detained in the same prison. After going out he tries to find himself in the new reality, to sort out his life, meet his mother, and most of all, to maintain contact with his wife, whose trial is still in progress.
