Winning most votes in audience polls is unquestionably the most important distinction a film can receive at a festival. It is obvious that filmmakers make films not for themselves but for us – the viewers. During TWO RIVERSIDES Festival the audience chooses the best film from those presented in World Under Canvas and Documentary sections, and also from others if they are full-length films (longer than 60 min.) and haven’t had their official premieres in Poland yet.

The viewers get special voting cards and vote by assigning points (1-5). Each film has to receive at least 50 valid points. 

The results are expressed as a weighted average and the director of the film with the highest average wins the Audience Award. One person from the voters will be invited by EPELPOL Entertainment, the partner of TWO RIVERSIDES Festival, to the 2010 Venice Film Festival.

The final list of the audience poll films will be published one week before the Festival starts, at the latest. For more information, see Festival Regulations.
