He studied at the University of Oslo with a two year specialization in documentary directing at Lillehammer College. He came to Poland to complete a Master of Arts degree in directing at the Polish National Film School in Lodz (PWSFTviT). He made several short films there. The films were shown at festivals throughout Europe, Asia and North America. They won several awards in Poland, Norway and in the USA.
