In one of the apartments of an unkempt tenement house live: twenty-something-year-old son, mother and father – the pensioner. The boy is a poet, introvert and very sensitive. Father is an old man seeking “small pleasures” like stamp collecting. Mother bustles around the house, cooks and cleans. Regular life in a regular home. But than one Spring day strange things begin to happen…

A film version of the opera presented at a number of festivals – notably: Biarritz, Paris, Mar del Plata, La Rochelle, Montreal and Buenos Aires – as an example of a new film language.

“A visionary and musical poem. A profound, subtle and very original movie,” – writes Claude Chamberlain, director of the Montreal Film Festival. “Fascinating film. Extraordinary imagination,” – notes Pierre-Henri Deleau, head of Biarritz FIPA. Ruben Guzman of Buenos Aires Museum of Fine Arts desribes the film as “a modern visual arts masterpiece” and picks it up for the museum’s permanent collection.
