In Męćmierz, at the fence near the well pictures of domestic animals from Męćmierz and Okala will be hanged. Chickens, dogs, cats, rabbits, pigeones – we see them there everyday, but mostly we hear them. Let us take a closer look at those animals, let us learn about their characters.

Fryderyk Chopin

The composer’s nostalgy on photographic paintings of Tomek Sikora – this is a name of a project consisting of photographic album with Chopin compositions recorded by Katarzyna Kraszewska on CD, and photographic animation which ilusstrates Scherco b-mol.

Tomek Sikora  – biography

Tomek Sikora was born in 1948 in Warsaw in an artistic family. His mother was a painter and father an acclaimed sculptor. During 70ies he worked as a reporter for “Perspektywy” magazine. In 1979 he made two big photographic projects: “Album” (“The Album”) and „Alicja w Krainie Czarów“ (“Alice in Wonderland”), which were exhibited at the Pompidou Center, Paris at the Young Artists Biennale. In 1982 he established an advertising photos studio in Melbourne. Since 1986 he’s been traveling intensively around the world. Since 1996 he shares his life between Poland and Australia. Until today, he publishes limited editions of his author’s books (33) and exhibits his works in many countries all over the world.
