The Independent School and Amateur Short Films Competition

We know that it’s really difficult for young authors to present their films on the big screen. That’s why we created this competition. On one hand, it allows amateurs and students from film schools to present their works in the cinema. On the other hand, we give our audience the opportunity to learn the film evaluation.

The competition is open for short films (not longer than 60 min.) that were produced in 2009 or 2010 (older productions can be accepted only if the festival screening is the premiere screening of the film in Poland).

The authors cannot have diplomas from any film school. We accept short length debuts made by film school graduates.

The director of the best short film receives the main prize of 3000 PLN. The two runner-ups get 1000 PLN each.

The list of selected films will be published on 5 July 2010.
