Lily McKinnon is an awkward fast food waitress, excluded because she simply doesn’t fit.  Wrong dress, wrong walk, wrong talk, wrong everything. Yet beneath all the wrong is a little bit of wonderful. Lily has unwavering optimism and loyalty. Lily McKinnon has an epiphany. A man who walks into the Meaty Boy burger bar every lunch time has an identical mole, above his lip, just like her. It’s more than a sign. It’s a small, dark, beautiful mole. Jarrod Lough is more interested in Lily’s pretty workmate. He doesn’t give a toss about the weird girl with the weird mole. He is a video game champion, determined to win respect but pushing all the wrong buttons.
